ABOUT
Edson Sithole is an African filmmaker based in Vancouver, Canada. His films explore identity, belonging, and existence through the lens of an African immigrant in Canada. His journey into filmmaking includes stops in architecture and visual arts.
Edson is the founder of Khulumani Films. In Ndebele, his mother tongue, Khulumani means “speak out” which is a fitting name for the types of stories he wants to tell. Stories that give a voice to characters that are on the margins of society and still entertain us at the same time.
